Not too long ago I picked up my old Barbie doll house from my mother's old house, she was moving out and needed me to get as much of my old stuff as I could.  I wasn't able to get most of my old dolls, but I was able to get the house my dad made and my mom painted.  He was a carpenter and made my doll house from scrap lumber he got at job sites.   ( Read more... )

So after a month of working on those stupid slippers for my husband, ripping them out repeatedly because they were freaking huge, I got them all finished and guess what? Am I the only one that can tell that the electric guitar is off key? I can't even play a guitar because I never practice, but I can tune one. A friend asked me to make her step-dad slippers for Christmas. It has ended up being more difficult then I thought to accomplish.
